The pampering is underway! The Bloomin’ Beauties Salon opened on June 3. So far, 25 residents have been treated to haircuts and manicures. Amanda Jensen, a professional stylist, cuts hair while volunteers paint nails.
Lisa Clements works directly with the housemothers to reserve slots for haircuts. Each scheduled resident receives an official appointment card. The next day for appointments is Saturday, July 22.
Volunteers are welcome to paint nails of residents on non-salon days.
