Garden Fall Session: November 20, 2019
Paperwhites, those lovely cousins of daffodils and jonquils, were the focus of the Enabling Garden Club in November. Fifteen residents learned how to grow plants from bulbs; they then created festive centerpieces.
The potted paperwhite bulbs will emerge as bright, fragrant blossoms in mid- to late December. A final fall Garden Club session will be offered to 15 different residents in December. Afterwards, everyone relaxed with apple cider and cider doughnuts.
