Pandemic Assistance Update

May, 2021

Pandemic Supplies:

Mount St. Joseph Association Board members Arn Baranchik and Marion Timmins continue to collaborate with the Mount St. Joseph COVID Executive Team to fund and acquire personal protective equipment and other related pandemic supplies.

Supplies procured during the month of May include: Clorox disinfecting wipes, disposable gloves, disposable face masks.

Weekly Meals:

The pandemic has limited the residents’ ability to go out to restaurants, so the Mount St. Joseph Association continues to bring the food in! Each weekend, a special catered meal from one of six local restaurants is delivered to each of the cottages. Tracey DiFalco and Sr. Charleen coordinate the menu.

Many thanks and a big shout-out to two families who donated funds for a weekly meal in May: Paula Golden and Pam & Larry Rychlick.

Would your family like to sponsor one of these meals? Suggested sponsorship donation is $1,000. Another option is to coordinate with other families to sponsor. Checks (payable to Mount St. Joseph Association) may be sent to Arn Baranchik, 924 Greenfield Court, Mount Prospect, IL 60056. Please earmark your donation as “Weekly Pandemic Meal.” You may also use the PayPal/credit card option on our website and earmark the donation in the “Attached Notes” section at the top of the page.
